As of a couple of hours ago, Pokemon Go servers have crashed, due to the overwhelming number of players that are singing up and playing simultaneously all over the world. Whenever a player tries to play the game, they are greeted by an error message.

The message reads: “Our servers are humbled by your incredible response. We are working to resolve the issue. Please try again soon!”, which is really just a nice way of saying they can’t cope with the astonishing number of hardcore fans the game has gained in under two weeks since it was first released in  Australia, the US and New Zealand.

This week, the game was released in 26 European countries as well, which led to a boom of new gamers signing up to the extremely addictive game every day.

The server crash has left many gamers all around the world devastated, many of which took to Twitter to express their despair and disappointment.

Independent UK reports that the crash might be the doing of a hacking group called PoodleCorp. They allegedly admitted to hacking the extremely popular game’s servers using a DDOS attack.
